2.1. Etymologie (Namenserklärung)

Varga et al. (2013: 97) lassen wissen: “The new species is dedicated to the memory of Lutz Lehmann (†) (Eisenhüttenstadt, Germany), renowned specialist of the Eurasiatic Noctuidae fauna.”

2.2. Typenmaterial

Varga et al. (2013: 97): “Holotype. Male, Turkmenistan, Kopet-Dagh Mts, between Ipay-Kala and Point-Kala, 800-1500 m, 38°13-15'N, 59°54-57'E, 30.VI-4.VII.1992, leg. Gy. Fábián, B. Herczig, A. Podlussány & Z. Varga (coll. G. Ronkay).” — Paratypen: Eine lange Reihe von Faltern beider Geschlechter; aus Turkmenistan, Iran, Afghanistan und Pakistan.
