Die nominotypische Unterart lebt in der SE-Türkei. Fibiger & Hacker (2007: 97) berichten: "Two specimens were recorded as new to Europe (Nupponen & Fibiger 2006), these specimens belong to the subspecies obfuscata." Bei Nupponen & Fibiger (2006: 173) war dazu zu lesen: "Verbljushka 09.IX.2002 1 W [...] The locality is a calcareous steppe slope. The present record is the northernmost one known. New to Europe and Russia. The specimen belongs to the type series of ssp. obfuscata Hacker, 2004." Und zur Gesamtverbreitung heißt es: "From eastern half of Turkey to Transcaspia, Iran and S Turkmenistan (Hacker 2004)."
