3.1. Etymologie (Namenserklärung)

Hacker (2004: 356): “Derivatio nominis: The name of the species is a combination of the Latin fulvus = yellow and fuscus = dark brown (dusk), which means the ground coloration of the forewings.”

3.2. Faunistik

Hacker (2004: 356) teilt mit, dass Poltavsky & Nekrasov (2002) die Art aus dem russischen Rostov/Don-Gebiet gemeldet haben. Dies sei der Erstnachweis für Europa.

3.3. Typenmaterial

Hacker (2004: 355): “Holotype: ♂, Turkey, prov. Hakkari, Umg. Hakkari, 1600m, 17.VI.1985 (gen. prep. H. Hacker 9395♂) (leg. H. Thöny) (coll. H. Hacker, ZSM);” — Eine lange Reihe von Paratypen aus der Türkei, ein Paratypus aus dem Iran.
