Diškus, Mey & Stonis (2022: 192) bemerken: “The host plant of Astrotischeria recta sp. nov. is unknown, but all the most similar (and, supposedly, phylogenetically related) species are trophically associated exclusively with various plants of the genus Baccharis L. (Asteraceae). Therefore, it can be assumed that A. recta is also a Baccharis-feeding species.”
