Nach [Afromoths] kommt die Art in Namibia und Südafrika vor.

Locus typicus: Holotype ♂, Ongombomero Farm, 35 km W of Okahandja, 1280 m (Namibia), 09.–12. März 2000, leg. S. & H. Peks, befindet sich in der Zoologischen Staatssammlung München.
