Die Art kommt endemisch auf Sokotra (Jemen) vor.

Locus typicus: Holotype ♂, West Socotra Shuab, coast line (Jemen), 24. März 2009, leg. A. Saldaitis, befindet sich in der Zoologischen Staatssammlung München.
