Amsel (1959: 134) beschrieb seine neue Art aus "Anbar-Abad", also aus 'Anbar'ābād in der Kermān-Provinz im Iran. Der oben gezeigte Belegfalter aus Syrien stammt von 20 km NE Damaskus.
