Nach der Literaturdaten-Zusammenstellung von [tortricidae.com/foodplants_by_species (abgefragt 16. Januar 2022)] ist klar, dass die Raupe polyphag sein muss und viele tropische Früchte nutzt. Angaben aus Europa liegen nicht vor.

Walker (1863: 310) beschrieb seine Pandemis eductana aus "Hindostan" (Hindustan in Indien. Meyrick (1928: 457) beschrieb das Synonym Cacoecia permutata von den zu Indien gehörenden Andamanen, eie Seite davor das Synonym Cacoecia difficilis von Borneo (Malaysia: "Sarawak, Kuching"). Nach der Nahrungspflanzenzusammenstellung von [tortricidae.com/foodplants_by_species (abgefragt 16. Januar 2022)] kommt die Art auch in Hong Kong und Thailand vor.

Kuchlein & de Vos (1999) führen die Art unter dem Nahmen "Archips difficilis" ohne Kommentar bei den in den Niederlanden festgestellten eingeschleppten und nicht etablierten Arten an. Details zur Meldung sind mir nicht bekannt.
