2. Diagnose

Hinweis: Gaedike (2019a) zeigt in seiner Erstbeschreibung auch ein Foto eines Sammlungsbelegs der Art. Bei der Zusammenstellung der Tafel wurden dann aber die Falter von Infurcitinea rietzi und Infurcitinea canaricola vertauscht. Gaedike (2019b: 436) korrigiert daher: "Unfortunately I overlooked a mistake in my paper: “New West Palaearctic Meessiidae and Tineidae (Lepidoptera: Tineoidea)”, published in SHILAP Revista de lepidopterología, 47(185): 75-86. In the page 85, the figure 21 shows Infurcitinea canaricola and not rietzi, the figure 22 shows Infurcitinea rietzi and not canaricola. The numbering of the drawings have to be changed in agreement to the legends from “21” to “22” and from“22” to “21”".

Gaedike (2019: 79): “Named after H. Rietz, the collector of the species.”

Gaedike (2019: 78) beschrieb die Art nach einem einzigen ♂: “Holotype: ♂ “Spanien, Alicante, Sierra Altana 1100 m, Font de Partegat, 23-VI-2013, [leg.] H. Rietz;” “Gen. präp. [genitalia slide] Gaedike 8290;” “Holotypus ♂, Infurcitinea rietzi sp. n. det. R. Gaedike 2017;” coll. C. Roweck.”
