Hacker (2004: 396) beschrieb die Art nach einem einzigen Falter: “Holotype: ♂, Cameroon, Mt. Cameroon, Mann's spring, S. side Mt. Cameroon, near Dr. Edwards' forest plots, 200m, from tree line, in middle of thick vegetation, 2180m, 5.II.[19]89 (gen.prep. H. Hacker 14054♂) (Museum Tervuren);”.
