Hacker (2004: 196) beschrieb die Art nach einem einzigen Falter: “Holotype: ♂, Esfahan, 2850m, C-Zagros, Golestan, Khuh NP, 10 km S of Khansar, 5.-6.IX.2000 (gen.prep. H. Hacker 14510♂) (leg. P. Gyulai & A. Garai, coll. P. Gyulai);”.
