Rajaei & al. (2023: 312) halten Meldungen aus dem Iran für Verwechslungen: “G. geometrica is an Oriental species distributed mainly in the tropics. The only report of this species, by Barou (1967) from the provinces Golestan and Mazandaran, seems to be due to confusion with a related species.”
