Buchner & Corley (2025: 361) führen die Art für Europa unter den "Excluded Species". Sie erklären: "Romania: Crişana (Căpuşe and Kovács 1987: 50), as argyrella (Rebel), the record was based on two specimens collected in Ineu and identified by L. Diószeghy. Both were examined (Kovács & Kovács, 2020) and they proved to be A. propinquella (Treitschke, 1935) therefore excluded from fauna of Romania. This was the only European record."

Die Art wurde aus der Mongolei beschrieben.
