3.1. Taxonomie und Faunistik

Wiltshire (1957: 138)führt Aretascetis endopercna Meyrick, 1936 als Synonym zu A. purulentella und schreibt zur Art im Iran: "Widespread in the plain and mountains. In the desert of the south-west it flies in May in deserts and parts of oases in the Central plain, in May- June; and at Middle Heights it flies in June." Rajaei et al. (2023: 165) stimmen dieser Synonymisierung nicht zu und führen sowohl Apiletria purulentella als auch Apiletria endopercna für den Iran an, wobei Letztere in weit mehr Provinzen gefunden wurde als Erstere.
