• [Rosaceae:] Pyrus syriaca (Syrische Birne)

[Bladmineerders.nl] nennt die Syrische Birne (Pyrus syriaca) als bisher einzige bekannte Raupennahrungspflanze. Aus Minen an Blättern dieser Pflanze wurde die gesamte Typenserie gezüchtet (Gustafsson (1981)).

3.1. Faunistik

Die Art wurde von Zypern beschrieben und ist bisher nur von dort bekannt. Sie ist damit wahrscheinlich ein Endemit dieser Insel.
