Die Raupen für die Erstbeschreibung der Art wurden an Limonium cordatum ("Statice cordata") gefunden.

4.1. Etymologie (Namenserklärung)

Die Art wurde nach der Raupennahrungspflanze Statice cordata (jetzt Limonium cordatum) benannt.

4.3. Faunistik

Die Art wurde aus Südfrankreich beschrieben; da sie auch aus Portugal, Sardinien und Mallorca (sowie der Ukraine) bekannt war, war sie auch in Spanien zu erwarten. Vives Moreno (2019) konnte das endlich bestätigen.
